David Thomas personally has been featured on two PBS programs out of Boston for home renovation and historical restoration.  His design work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Interior Design Magazine, Metropolitan Home, House & Garden, Canadian Architect, Canadian Interior, Toronto Life, City & Country Home, Canadian House & Home, plus many news publications in Canada, Mexico and the USA.  He has had several homes in the Parade of Homes of Wake County since 1997 and "Windy Hill House" in the Bermuda Home & Garden Tours.

David Thomas has been commended by many for two of his strongest features - "interpretive evaluation" of client information and his "listening skills".  Interpretive evaluation has everything to do with experience and the knowledge base that he has obtained, and this enables him to arrive at the best solutions for his clients.  His listening skills are very well honed after years of working on commercial, residential and vacation projects in many countries and cultures with difficult resourcing, language barriers and varying currencies.

Current projects include:  designing a European Village in Chapel Hill and North Raleigh, several vacation and estate homes, multiple 4-story Italian duplexes, an historical home restoration and an apartment in Manhattan.  Current projects are in Raleigh NC, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Henderson, Kure Beach, Manhattan, Wilmington, and Muskoka Canada.
